Due to increasing number of members of the society of Value Engineers SAVE-International from the Arabian Gulf Chapter and the success of Value Engineering application in both government and private sectors, the SAVE executive board had approved the establishment of Arabian Gulf Chapter during SAVE conference held in 1998. The head office of the Arabian Gulf Chapter is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. New election was held in Riyadh on March 8, 2005

Goal Of Chapter

Engineers, Architects, Managers, Administrators and host of other professional people have an opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of VE concept and applications. The chapter also aims at promoting the advancement of the development of VE applications in Arabian Gulf countries, improving the quality of projects and optimize the utilization of all costs and resources.

مقدمة عن الفرع

نظراً للزيادة الملحوظة في أعضاء الجمعية الدولية لمهندسي القيمة من منطقة الخليج العربي إضافة إلى نجاح تطبيق مفهوم الهندسة القيمية في القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، اعتمد المجلس التنفيذي للجمعية الدولية لمهندسي القيمة إنشاء فرع للجمعية بمنطقة الخليج وذلك خلال مؤتمر الجمعية الذي عقد في 1998م. كما تقرر ان يكون مقر فرع الخليج في مدينة الرياض بالمملكة العربية السعودية حيث اجريت انتخابات الفرع الجديد في الرياض بتاريخ 8/3/2005م وتم انتخاب اعضاء المجلس التاليين لمدة ثلاثة سنوات
